On the 30 of march 2011 in SRSTU(NPI) Tripartite memorandum of understanding between SRSTU(NPI), SAP University Alliance and bank "Center-Invest" was executed.

Memorandum was signed by the rector of SRSTU(NPI) Vladimir Perederiy, the head of the SAP partnership programs in Russia, CIS, Scandinavia and the baltic states Victor Taratoukhin and the chairman of the board of directors of CB "Center-Invest" Anna Shtabnova.

On july 2010 SRSTU(NPI) joined "SAP University Alliance".  There was created authorized certification center, which had the main area of focus to train and to certificate students on SAP ERP TERP10 course. Svetlana Shirobokova,  associate professor of the chair of information and measurement systems and technologies, the candidate of economic sciences, was assigned as a head of the center.

On december 2010 SRSTU(NPI) was accredited as the Acadimic certification center SAP.

On january-february 2011 the academic center had trained the first group of students in the South Russia, and ten students successfully passed the exam and recieved the international SAP certificate.

The rector of SRSTU(NPI) Vladimir Perederiy said, that in the future memorandum will give the university the wide area to develop and to take part in the development of all SAP information systems. This will expand the scope of university activity on the implementation of the science achievments in the area of information technologies..

"South Russian state technical university (Novocherkassk polytechnical institute)" is the multisectoral scintific and technical complex with advanced infrastructure and modern material and technical basis,that provides multi-level training of specialists, bachelors and masters, who comply with the demands of the modern industry.

As pointes by the first prorector SRSTU (NPI) N. Gorbatenko, today in South Federal region there are 40 companies, that are SAP clients, that use SAP as there main application to manage their business-processes. And further distribution of this modern and innovative soloution needs several joint steps. "We are planning to develop our ceer to make it regional, and also we are planning to create SAP Council, that will unite SAP clients in South Federal Region", - said N. Gorbatenko. .

The signing of memorandum is refered to unite efforts of SAP company, bank "Center-Invest" and SRSTU (NPI) on the organization of training courses of SAP information technologies. The memorandum defines technics of collaboration of students and university teachers with potential employees and the provider of program solutions for buiness-processes automatization..

The partner for ACADEMIC Certification center SAP SRSTU (NPI) on providing the access to SAP solutions is the University Center of competece in Magdeburg, that provide access, ducational and technical support for mor than 250 educational institutes in Germany, Scandinavia and Africa.

UCC in Magdeburg is the hosting-center for russian higher educational institutes. Educational and technical support for SRSTU (NPI) is provided by Academic competence center SAP in Saint-Petersburg.

"When year ago SRSTU (NPI) became the member of SAP University Alliance, I couldn't imagine that SAP educational program will develop so fast there" - pointed the head of the programs of the partnership with higher educational institues and research organizations in CIS, Scandinavia and the baltic states of "SAP CIS"  V. Taratoukhin.

As he said, SRSTU (NPI) has made a good start - in a six months after the opening of Authorized Certification center SRSTU(NPI) became the first in South Russia, who successfully certification of students. The signing of memorandum and collaboration with major regional bank will  provide further development of SAP educational programs in SRSTU (NPI).

"Among the cusomers of SRSTU there are the most major companies of the country, that have demand in specialists with the knowledge of SAP solutions",- pointed the head of the programs of the partnership with higher educational institues and research organizations in CIS, Scandinavia and the baltic states of "SAP CIS"  Taratoukhin V.. "As the part of our academical program, as our social initiative, we train students for free in our educational institutes",- he said

"We are interested in this project as this is our personnel potential, personnel basis for training students. The head of SAP office in Rostov-na-Donu Dmitriy Andikalovskiy visited this event. In his speech he pointed the importance of the role of the university in the compostion of personnel potential of the region. The creation of certification center SAP in SRSTU (NPI) and the development of SAP educational programs give the opportunity for students and graduates of SRSTU (NPI) to start learning SAP solutions just rght in the university. Then they are creating the market of SAP specialists in the South Federal region and help SAP partners and customers to solve there HR-problems.

"I hope, that in some time I'll meet these people, who today are reciving SAP certificats, working in the companies, that run SAP..." - Dmitriy said. He thanked the head of Academic certification center Svetlana Shirobokova pointing, that  the major part of what have been done would be impossible without her active position..

In the final part of the event  the head of the programs of the partnership with higher educational institues and research organizations in CIS, Scandinavia and the baltic states of "SAP CIS"  V. Taratoukhin has presented the certificates TERP10 to ten students, who had successfully passed the certification exam.
